Frequently asked questions

Are SMS messages included in the plans?

Yes. Starter Lounge includes 300 SMS/month, Prime Lounge includes 1,500 SMS/month, and VIP Enterprise includes 5,000 SMS/month. Additional SMS bundles can be topped up directly from your manager settings at wholesale telecom rates.

Are there any booking commissions or per-cover fees?

None. Unlike OpenTable, Resy, or third-party reservation marketplaces that charge $1.00 to $2.50 per guest cover, BottleServices charges zero booking commissions. You pay your fixed monthly plan fee and keep 100% of your guest revenue and guest contact list.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan as my venue grows?

Yes. You can switch between Starter, Prime, and VIP Enterprise at any time. When upgrading, new table allocations, staff accounts, and SMS quotas are activated immediately.

How does the 5-minute checkout hold prevent double bookings?

When a guest selects a table, BottleServices places a database-level pessimistic lock on that table for 5 minutes while the guest enters their phone verification code. If they do not complete the booking, the table is automatically released. Two guests can never book the same table simultaneously.

Do you help with initial menu upload and staff onboarding?

Yes. Our white-glove setup team assists with configuring your floor layout, uploading your food and bottle menu into the Digital Menu Studio, setting up custom sender IDs, and conducting remote or on-site staff training.

What payment methods do you accept for monthly subscriptions?

We support Mobile Money (MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AirtelTigo), Visa, Mastercard, and direct bank wire transfers. Annual upfront subscriptions receive a 10% discount.
